    Hi Tsikoters,

any advise on what chemical we can use that is effective to remove mineral deposits and make the glass or window of the car clear again?

Naisip ko lang, though di pa na try, pwede kaya yung muriatic acid?

    any advise please,

    thanks.

In my case sir I used Mother's clay bar. I would advise against muriatic acid. Pwede rin po kayo gumamit ng 2000 or up na grit of sandpaper. Ito yung ginagamit ng mga detailers. Masyado po corrosive ang muriatic acid if it touches any paint, damaged po agad.

Cheapest would be vinegar mixed with water.

I personally use Elevo Watermark Remover (purchased from Concorde) and then followed by Autoglym Glass Polish.

don't use acid, that will ruin your car's metal body and rubbers. try first those window glass cleaners available in diy shops. or just even the lowly joy detergent. pag hindi makuha sa cleaners then there is an automotive windshield polish available at wilcon builders' supply, it will be the orange colored tube in their automotive section. or get professional help from reputable detailing shops.

Some detailers use 2000 and up grit sandpaper sir. Then very gently tinatanggal yung watermark. Yung 2000 grit parang papel nalang siya di mo na ma feel yung gaspang.

I'm using elevo water mark remover liquid type and not the wax/paste type. It includes fine na scotch Brite to remove the mineral deposits on our windshield and glass panels.
