Isuzu's under the hood

i read this sa Cocktales/Inquirer...apparently Isuzu is starting a campaign/promo to replace the old diesel engines on PUJs/trucks with clean air -compliant diesel engines. around P200-250k daw ang engine, which can even be fitted on old Revos/FXes.

isn't 200-250k pretty steep for the common PUJ driver? sana babaan nila para madami kumagat; i'd sure like to see less smog from up here in the office B)

price na yan ng buong jeepney. the operators would rather buy another jeepney than replacing their engine.

Mahal naman niyan ,baka pa calibrate na lang nila yun makina nila kesa palit ng engine, mabusisi na matrabaho pa,para sa mge operators

Oo nga mahal na yan yung mga may budget lang makakabili ng mga new engines na yan lalo na ngayon..
