Need help on buying decision

good day, i'm planning to buy a 2nd hand 2001 Isuzu Highlander SL. the owner is selling it for php280k.

the condition of the whole car is about 90%.
it is a very well maintained auv.
80k+ in its odometer.
original paint and still very shiny.
no accident history.
with alarm and power lock.
original mags.

is this worth buying?

SL po ba? Hindi ba po XTRM?

Well, kung maafford niyo po, mas ok po ang XTRM. Pero kung ok na po yung SL, as long as ok yung unit, then go for it.

i think the price is reasonable enough. inspect mo na lang unut, kung ok na sya sa iyo, go for it.

actually yung unit napakasariwa pa. mukha pa syang medyo bago yung paint and yung interior. sa lahat kasi ng nakita ko na highlander ito ang pinakasariwa.

yung mga xtrm na highlander naman parang masyadong mahal para sa condition at looks ng mga unit na nakikita ko.

that price is parang for SLX na or medyo napabayaang xtrm...price ng SL sa tsikot is ranging from 150K to 250K with that price kung alaga naman po then go for it...pero baka may choice or may nakita kayo na SLX with the same price eh mas maganda po kasi power window na siya...

nakuha ko na yung highlander and very satisfied ako.

ano ba mga dapat kong palitan o ipagawa?

1 change engine oil
2 change transmission oil
3 change gear oil
4 change power steering fluid
5 change engine coolant
6 change oil filter
7 change fuel filter
8 change air filter
9 valve clearance adjustment

eto ang mga naka line up kong gawin tommorow or next day.

may nakalimutan pa ba ako?

You could check or change the following.
1. Tires for Wear or any bukol (Balancing and Alignment)
2. Belts (A/C, Power Steering, Alternator)
3. Wiper Blades and Clean Spray Nozzles
4. Check all exterior and interior Lights. (upgrade to higher wattage if you want)
5. New Seatcover (seatmate)
6. New Matting
7. Cleaning of Exhaust muffler
8. CV boots for wear
9. Undercoat

sir meron pa po kayo hindi namention...

about aircondition..

1.check nyo kung mga kagat pa po ang lamig...
2.check kung nagaautomatic pa ang compressor (engage and disengage) and dapat nasa 750rpm lang +/-50..halos kapantay lang ng idle nyo...
3. Check refrigerant I dont know SL kung 134A na ang freon nya check the drier for presence ng air or bubbly..kapag meron need charging and cleaning ng aircon for good vehicle temperature....

other things pa...
1.fusebox and check relays and fuses baka may nakajumper...
2.drain mo radiator water mo para lumabas ang dumi then flash it with water then drain mo ulit..then palitan mo ng distilled water para hindi magkascale or rust parts ng water system mo...
3. check mo din yung fluid ng brake mo at clutch I reccommend flushing para sure ka....and topup new fluid para sure ka..

other than that wala na ako maiisip..ayos ang choice nyo sir oks ang 4JA-1 na engine hindi tayo ititirik nito basta tama lang ang maintenance...
