first generation Trooper

Hi tsikoteers. I need some advice if I should buy a first generation 1986 Isuzu trooper with C223 diesel engine. Hows maintenance and performance for both on pavement and offroad?

Will I have problems on body underchassis and engine parts lalo na kasi mejo luma na? Alam mo naman ang second hand lalo pa mga lumang sasakyan na edad na 24 years na, kahit na sabihin ng seller na nothing to fix and ready to use ay may lalabas pa rin na problema or ipapagawa after a few days nakuha na The price of the unit Im looking at is 150K but haggling a little bit more.

Hi newbie here. Just want to share my experience sa 86 na Trooper

Mine is a bubble top
I Just acquired it last week

Fully restored, mostly original parts

Problems I have encountered so far.
1. Hardstarting minsan
2. Mahina aircon
3.Mahirap mag shift( specially 2nd gear)

Pros
1. Sobrang tipid sa gas.
2.Really fun to drive. ( Kung medyo gamay mo na) .
3. Malakas Talaga sa akyatan.

Top speed I had sa NLEX 110 lang.
Had it checked sa friend ko sa Banawe Ok pa naman daw nakuha ko,

I also drive around a 01 Ls Trooper, Pero mas prefer ko i drive yung 86.

BTW if parts kailangan mo meron daw sa FRONTE sa Banawe. Bumili ako Orig na side mirror from them.
