Injector? Dapat ba palitan if bad burn ng Diesel fuel?

hi fellow Isuzu owners..

I have a crosswind with mileage of 100k. napansin ko yung amoy ng usok niya
more on like unburned fuel.. sabi ng mechanic have to replace the injector.

actually d ko masyado alam yan, naisip ko baka have to calibrate yung injection pump. my mileage is fine naman and d naman masyado mausok and hindi maitim.

how much ba injector? 4 pcs daw kailangan kasi 100 k na mileage

Where did you have your Crosswind checked? My so-called "mosquito shop"? Have you tried bringing it to an authorized ISUZU dealer? Get a 2nd (maybe even 3rd) opinion. I don't like to believe it's a faulty injector. Maybe some adjustments may do the trick.

ano pa ba ng ibang signs ng bad diesel burn?

try to have it cleaned first at any calibration center

it would only cost php125/injector

buying before really knowing your injectors condition will only cost you

clean it first then decide if replacement is really needed

a piece of injector would cost around php2500(zexxel brand, best one)

or maybe you also just need a calibration

calibration cost php2200(labor, o-rings and gaskets)

try to go directly to calibration centers that casa's go to

isuzu casa's only subcon their calibration services to other calibration centers because they don't have the equipments

it will save you about 3/4 of the casa price if going directly to calibration centers

it will only also take a day rather than 2 to 3 days from casa's
