Hi everyone! I'm new to this forum. I thought this would be the best place to get information, as well as to meet new friends.
I recently got my hands on a 1996/1997 Isuzu trooper LHD with a 4 cylinder 2.0 gasoline engine. Honestly, its my first time to see this model. Anyway, I'm plannig to change the engine into a diesel. I would appreciate any advice from the members of this forum.
Thanks for the advice. But isn't it that the diesel models are made in japan and imported via Subic? I believe there are safety issues involved with the converted models. The local "sunroof editions" are way beyond my budget.
Thanks for the advice. The gasoline engine runs fine.....but seems to be too over-rated for the trooper's heavy build. Mahina sa akyatan, and the fuel consumption is comparable to a V8. My gas model runs 4-5 km/liter.....thats why I'm contemplating on an engine change. Are there any other engines i could use in a Trooper body?
may local na 4JG2, pre-99 4JX1 model. Mga 97-98 model yun. Yung V6 magastos sa gas. if you will do the engine change mag ipon ka na lang for the 4JG2. Best bet is still to sell it and buy the local 4JG2.
