Ooops! sorry again Isuzu but your claim of still being the King of diesel simply DOESN'T hold water anymore.. Wake up isuzu! This isn't the 1980's!

You need to invest again in serious R&D and please stop dumping substandard, outdated and technologically backward vehicles into third world countries! Stop acting as if kayo lang marunong gumawa ng diesel engine..

hndi aq ahente ng isuzu mga pre..bkit db i-van thread ito and i-van is an nhr truck?pepechugin ba ito compare sa canter o sa ibang trucks?i think not.. sa thread na ito puro negative lng ba lalagay natin?sympre may postive din dapat... at since hndi aq ahente ng isuzu ngkkmali din minsan... pero more often ung ibang tama eh nresearch q lng.. kung 1000.00 lang ang lamang s price ng isuzu trucks sa mitsubishi trucks baka halos lahat isuzu na binili.. under normal circumstances mostly isuzu engines are tougher than mitsubishi.. actually sa dami ng site na napuntahan ko msmadami ng sasabi my matitibay at less maintenance ang isuzu engines sa mitsu.. whether trucks, auv etc.. 60% cguro.. kabilang k cguro sa 40%.... kumbaga isuzu eh tito,vic,joey... ang mitsu willy, vice ganda kumbaga back up... at bakit greenfield.. cge personal experience mu basehan mo.. hindi ba pwde personal experience ng iba itestify ko? may kahawig yang testimony mo pare.. na msmadalas gamit n gamit ung isuzu nya compare sa mitsubishi... pero ms mdami ng sira ang mitsu.. ms mgastos pa sa diesel.. sa kasmahan namin ung mitsubishi nya na delica..abah delikado kc almost every year sira... samantala ung mga crosswind xuv dun sa paligid cool lang..

kung may construction business ako at may pera ako, i rather risk my money sa real truck maker/and diesel engines producer isuzu.. hndi sa snsabi ko mahina ang mitsu trucks/hino pero dun aq sa numero uno... yang mitsu nga kabilang sa damielchrysler ba un na group, ung hino toyota group pero ung isuzu soloista...

going back to the topic, isuzu i-van just need to tell centro to higher the ground clearance, sliding doors, foldable seats ang have a 23 seating arrangement.... maybe slow than others but it is durable and reliable, fuel efficient too--- yan cguro hopfully papatok yang i-van.. ..

isuzu also has giga truck na 63000++kg GCM... ung pinakamataas ng mitsu super great is 58,000gcm ..

ivan is the only real truck-van... ung l300 ba totoong truck base?eh parang kinuha lng ung muka ng versa van tapos nilagyan ng truck body.. hndi pa mgnda ung airconsystem.. gaya ng mgngsabi sa ibang thread.. pg puno na parang airplane ready for take off... pero speed ok sya,,

i-van has superior reliability in engine, good fuel consumption thinking its a truck.. compare to others, kahit L300 pa.. kung ung mga mitsu trucks ms mabilis at hndi msyado ang isuzu trucks, bakit mo pipilitin pantayan ang speed ng mitsu truck db.. so hindi tamang pag gamit...

lets give ivan a chance in the road.. bago pa lng yan.. may tatangkilik din nyan.. .. ultimo mga chinese brands nga isuzu engine gamit... kaht toyota ti-nap ung isuzu for diesel engine collaboration.. sana hino nlang tinapik nila o mitsubishi kung tlagang ms matitibay at tested mga un over isuzu db?sino ang ngtap sa isuzu?-toyota(number 1 automaker lng naman po)

Testimonials are one thing, pero sobrang OA naman. We're talking about a passenger van, not Life, the Universe and Everything.

What do cargo vans have to do with small commercial passenger services? Nothing! Otherwise, Isuzu would not bother selling the Crosswind or the Alterra.

Why doesn't Isuzu just dump the "inferior" (inferior because they're not "truck based") Crosswind, Alterra and D-Max and sell nothing but NHR based passenger services? They won't, because passenger use is much different from cargo use.

The reason Mitsubishi and Isuzu don't use cargo truck platforms for passenger service is the same reason we don't use ultra-durable ultra-low revving marine diesels for passenger cars... because they're too big, too uneconomical and not suited for the application.

An L300 is a tinny rustbucket, but for the up-front price of the i-Van, you can buy two L300s with more capacity, or buy one L300 and have enough money left over to maintain it forever.

Or if you want to go Isuzu... two IPVs... much better.

The iVan is like taking the underpowered Crosswind 4JA1, stuffing it into the Alterra, removing all the creature comforts of the Alterra and replacing them with cardboard seats, and selling the car at less than 1m. Given that choice, I'd rather take the Crosswind.

    -

Then again, a 4JA1T Alterra is tempting.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

For reference, would anyone know how much would those Hiace Super Grandias/Grandia GLs converted into ambulances cost? Isuzu Phil is positioning the I-Van as a possible low end alternative ambulance, I'm wondering, just on a cost perspective, how much the difference would be.

Base-level Commuter lang yun with a light-bar and some kit. But I'd still take the Commuter over an I-Van or a Foton View. More power (the View really isn't quick at all), better controls, better brakes and brake balance (has ABS, won't fish-tail) and very good handling for a van.

Just have to make sure the patient can survive the teeth-rattling ride.

vans like hiace, urvan etc came out of the factory whole. they were designed and engineered whole
