    pls recommend naman. kailangan ko na magpalit ng tires.

    ayoko na nung yokohama oem. yun sana balak ko ikabit ulit. kaya lang kahapon sa highway kami from lingayen, yung rear left tire natangal yung ply (yun ba tawag dun) tapos humampas sa rear/side end, yung sa likod ng mudguard. nayupi tuloy yung kaha pati na yung dulo ng stepboard. buti na lang hindi sumabog yung gulong and wala natamaan na ibang motorist ng ply (rubber) na lumipad.
    palit agad ako before wed. byahe kasi ulit ako sa pangasinan/lingayen.
    anu ba ok na tires? salamat

    guido, there is a thread here that discusses extensively on crosswind tires. Just press SEARCH, and search for crosswind or xto tires. The threads that contain discussions should pop up.

    Anyway, after reading those threads, I ended up installing dunlop 205/70 r15, vs the original of 65 series. Mas mura ang 70 series than 65! It will increase the sidewall, which allows to soften the harsh ride of the crosswind, although the difference in ride is minimal.

    salamat. binabasa ko nga mga threads. dami pala. hirap din pumili.
    currently considering the goodyear fortera. sana ok yun. kung lakihan ko narin ng 205/70, wala ba sasayad?

    from my experience, minsan sasayad kung nakaliko ang gulong tapos dumaan ka ng butas, but it disappeared after 1 or 2,000 kms after brand new installation, sa harap. Yung sa ibang thread, sinubukan sa 215 tires, sayad sa mudguard pagliko, so inadjust ang mudguard. Mas macho tingnan kung mas malaki ang gulong of course, if you don't mind going through all the trouble of adjusting (plus mas mahal ang 215)
