I really cannot believed that this vehicle with an Isuzu-sourced engine and drivetrain provides better specification and features than the local Crosswind. At basically the same price.

No, it's a Great Wall Hover, made by the Great Wall of China. No, seriously it's made by a Chinese manufacturer, Great Wall Motor Company. In fairness, that car actually looks good while having the 2.8D engine of the Fuego(?). Only problem is the brand.

It's price competes with that of the SUV-wannabe Crosswind AUV with far better specification--a 2.8L DI-turbo engine producing 90+ hp, 4x4 and with ABS, airbags, tilt steering wheel.

Kung kaya ng mga Chinese copycats maglagay ng ABS, airbag, etc. at a 4x4 option on these type of vehicle without raising the price significantly, why can't Isuzu? They can always use the the old reliable engines, drivetrain, and suspension parts from previous generation vehicles.

Just imagine this could have been the new generation Sportivo.

What you're seeing is the high end chinese Hoover. With a 2.8L Isuzu engine fitted in the hoover, this makes the vehicle's engine as reliable as the crosswind.

The only question now is the under chasis. But the way the hoover is price then I'm sure the vehicle is classed as "AA" in china and is highly reliable.

The Hover will be launched in Australia as X240 with a Mitsubishi 4G62. 2.4L engine.

Here, I believe it will be "assembled" by resurgent Francisco Motors with a 2.8 L diesel engine.

Yeah..there will be many doubters. But it seems Great Wall is one of the best Chinese car companies.

As to the Crosswind, it will probably last 4 lifetimes...the engine that is...everything else is doubtful.
