hi trooper owners:: just wondering if we could request to some suppliers of headlights. request natin ang clear crystal headlight pang trooper...is it possible? the problem is we should order at least minimum requirement.. ang hirap mag drive sa gabi.. kahit nag palit na ako ng bulb.. dapat ata HID.. but sobra naman mahal.. any suggestion?

Wait for a couple of months more, I overheard that HID prices will be lowered to 25-28K for the whole kit.

let's say crstal headlight na nga, but if H4 pa rin ang bulb, I'd rather raplace my Jaos aux light to an HID aux light, leaving my headlight as it is, stock.

i think HID is not practical..besides ang temperature ng weather natin extreme.. mukhang bibigay... rather wait for crystal clear.. ganda pa ng porma

Weather extremes? Maybe from your end, but in Manila average temperature is 30s.

    BTTT:
HIDs are pegged too steep. But interms of rugged use, I have seen it perform quite well onroad and offroad use. Maybe if the HIDs were sold for a couple of thousand pesos cheaper, then you'll judge it as "ganda pa ng porma din". :D

what bulbs are you using? I changed mine to Philips Crystal VisionPlus and it helps a lot, I'd say ca.30-40% increase in visibility. 1K lang/pair, Hans Shang. I then bought a yellow H3 bulbs for my foglamps para for bad weather days,Flosser Php 350 each sa Infinity Megamall. This is equivalent sa All Weather ng Philips. It's a good combination. HID is sooo expensive. HTH!

Use GE 140/110 H4 bulbs on your trooper. Thats what we placed sa Trooper namin. Superior visibility even while travelling on a rainy asphalt road

Baka naman superblack tint mo sa harap thats why you have poor visibility

Let me bump up this thread for the benefit of all Trooper owners who have a need for brighter headlights.

The GE 140/110 H4 came highly recommended, but no reply was given on where to buy this in Manila.

Do any of you have other recommendations? Philips, Osrams?

I personally have tried the GE headlight, but comparing to HID... HID beats it hands down. I have magicblack tint in front so the need for a brighter light. Ang disadvantage lang is you will have no hi-beam. Overall quite satisfied with my HID kit. Been using it for almost 2 years na.

I am using the osram all weather na 80/120 (or 110 ata). Since input is low, no need daw for a relay. 1,200 a pair. It's slightly yellow, but great visibility in normal and rainy weather and on asphalt. I can use up almost 30 pairs of this for a set of HIDs.

I wonder how you can upgrade the driving lamps? Advice is that Isuzu orig lang daw.
