TIA

subukan mo lang 'to pre. not sure kung tama. If the mechanism of the 98 fuego is the same as the hilanders/crosswinds, silipin mo sa ilalim nung transmission mo. may nakakabit dun na wires, yun yata yung electrical signal wire ng speedo/odo and rpm meter. idiin mo lang ulit yung pagkaka-kabit or pagkasuksok. baka lumuwag lang yung wires nawalan ng contact.

    hope that helps.

cable type yata ang mga isuzu. the wires are for the back-up light. the cable might have been damaged or dislocated sa tranny housing.

much as we would like to help each other and i would want to help, i cant because i have the same problem with my 97 ls. but mine stopped working totally and the odometer stopped with it because the two are linked.
i bought and tried installing a velo cable for the speedo but there is no socket for it in the console back, though there is a socket for it in the transmission.
i think they are right in saying that the speedo is digital, but why wont it run? how can we get it to work? do we buy a new sensor? i cant seem to find somebody who knows how to fix it
if you managed to fix yours, gimme a shout out so i can try what you did on mine
    good luck

Finally... i was able to solve the problem yesterday! and that after going to two repair shops to have it checked.

ito yung pics taken at the right side near the rear right wheel...
