As much as possible, leave the vehicle under the sun (esp. in the afternoon) with all the doors, hatch open.
Usually the smell also lingers or comes from every single interior surface of your vehicle. The smell would also be coming from the aircon. Clearing the smell from the aircon would be difficult bec. it clings stubbornly inside and there is nothing that can be done.
If you want something very drastic involves, taking out the carpet and have it washed, as well as the seats.
Try putting charcoal in a can and leave it strategic areas.Last edited by number001; March 28th, 2008 at 10:57 PM.

January 23rd, 2009 05:47 PM #8Definitely charcoal is an effective remedy for bad odors. Yun nga lang, your car interior won't have any fresh scent inside. Still you need to have a car scent, but I would suggest the Odor Eliminator type (cheapest with good quality is the Ambi Pur Odor Eliminator = Php 99.00 only). In that way, you would achieve good interior smell in your car.
Question:
Does charcoal also absorb the air freshner scents?
