    hi guys,

how will i remove the smell of leather seat covers which were stored for more than 6 months? i cant fully describe the smell, but its the 'naka-kulob' kind. i tried to put the seats under the sun for a week and tried to put detergent on the reverse side of the seat, but no effect.

    will an ionizer help?

    thanks.

Just expose it for a day and the smell will go away.

Using conditioner might not be a good idea

after exposing it to the sun, get a leather cleaner.

dont use a leather cleaner since it's not leather.

those cheapo covers most people buy are vinyl (synthetic leather) and are nowhere near being leather.

    just wash them

it's vinyl, it's very tough and durable, so don't worry about it. try it for colourfastness though since there's no way for you to be certain how it was dyed.

The air ionizer should do the trick. Ang problema lang sa ionizer, pati perfume mo mawawala amoy paglabas mo ng car.
