Looks like Hyundai will add a little zoom-zoom in the upcoming next gen Sonata.

Initial engines will be a 2.4 liter Theta II with gasoline direct injection and a 3.5 liter Lambda II V6.
A 2.2 liter R diesel engine will be available at a later date.
