Hyundai Accent taxi in Iloilo

My friend from Iloilo sent me these pics. There are around 6 units of them running pero madami na daw ang Avanza taxi dun.

just want to make a coment.. ive said this before.. but out in the provinces, its not what we all thing that here in manila is way ahead of the other regions.. if you go to cagayan de oro city,, tambak ang mga altis dun nga taxi,, even the top of the line 1.8 taxi lang dun.. and most of the aircon buses running around manila, no would ride them in mindanao..even the jeepneys are better looking than the ones here in manila.... just a thot...

+1. If it were priced cheaper, there'd probably be more on the road. It could also take some sales from the Getz, considering it's even more thrifty.

Well, the transport market out in the provinces isn't oversaturated like it is in Manila, where there may be two zillion buses and taxis in front of you that are almost completely empty. In Manila, where PUVs are competing for passengers during most of the day, it's hard to make anything from the business unless you're resorting to real massive cost cutting.

Im sure ok ang ROI ng Accent kasi tipid sa gas at we know naman na matibay ang hyundai kasi in some countries they give 5 years warranty dito lang sa pinas nde kasi magulang mga businessman dito hehehe!

I saw a Picanto taxi sa cainta last week. looks nice. bagay na bagay pang taxi.. Start na ng pag depreciate ng value nyo KIA hehehe bilis nyo kasi mag taas ng price.

Pati nga sa mga passenger jeeps, bilib ako dyan sa Iloilo. Kakatuwa lang tignan mga masilyadong PUJ, customized and you can even pick kung ano gusto mo pangharap like bumpers, grills at headlights (saw civics, starex & CRV) hehe galing nga ng Pinoy eh....even the interiors magaganda din. Dito na lang sa Manila nangungulelat mga PUJ, puro old skul model pa din.

May mga Kia Rio din ako minsan nasakyan dyan sa Iloilo. Yup, nagkalat ang high-end Altis sa CDO.

Sa taxi naman there are a lot of New model hyundais. Sarap nga sakyan kasi fresh pa ang mga interior..

Oo nga, nakakatuwa at -hanep in a way- ang mga Jeep sa Iloilo.

Ganyan nga ang mga ilongo sabi ng mga Ilongo cousins ko. ang iba okey daw nalang sa sout murang damit basta maganda ang sasakyan biro nila...

sa Cagayan de oro naman, ang mga bagong Jeep, Isuzu DMax na ang headlights.

It's a good thing Davao is Advancing na din. though last time when I was there, mas prefered ang old cars and non-aircon para mas tipid 5 pesos.

yeah. we ( davao ) still has those non air taxis. but new taxis hindi na pwede i register ang mga non - air taxis.

I was under the impression that Hyundai was no longer bringing in their Accent and Matrix models due to the price increase for these vehicles caused by the transfer of their manufacturing base to Turkey.

Paano naman ang mga existing owners ng ganitong mga modelo? Hindi kaya sila mahihirapan maghanap ng mga piyesa sa labas ng casa?

Wala na bang paraan para mapababa pa ang presyon ng Accent? Wala bang review dito ng Accent? Baka naman matipid lang iyan dahil bago pa?

There's also Hyundai Accent taxis at Metro Manila...and a lot of them already. Seems like a taxi company owns them.
