We are on the same dilemma right now...
Urvan: pang business pasada but they say the engine is not that good + it's bare.
GS: Hands down for comfort and luxury...I just don't know about the Tci engine as I'm also looking for the comments of our gurus
Best thing to do is drive test them boat so that you can get the feel.

Try reading up on the Grand Starex thread. Though paltry on paper, the TCI's 100+hp was good enough for CVT on his long road trips with his family on board.

Obviously, my vote goes to the GS.

Yan din issue ko, looking at tci gls. based on cvt's posts ok ang GS nya pagakyat ng baguio which is really a test.

Bro.,- kung nababagalan ka sa arangkada ng TCI GS,- you should have experienced the TCI Gen3,- mas makupad...

    *jbernardino,
Is your Fortuner the 3.0L? If so, perhaps a reason for the GS being more sluggish is the additional 300 kgs weight penalty over the Fortuner.
