As usual, BMW is the most awarded. Although Ford also has 2 winners.

Kakabilib din talaga ginagawa ng mga engr's nila.

I find it ironic with the accent having an issue with their engine based on some thread.

1.6 engine naman yan. Dapat isama na nila yung 1.4 gamma engine ng accent as the best engine on the planet. Wala ng tatalo.... Sa kapalpakan.
Sa sobrang high performance ng engine na yan kahit 100 octane na may knocking parin. Dapat ilagay nalang nila sa manual "jet fuel recommended to prevent knocking"

You can hardly blame an engine for not being able to use gasoline it's not designed for. And make no mistake the quality control of some gasoline stations here is pretty bad. Though, yes, it is a pain in the ass that it's so hard to undo the damage done by poor gas to the Hyundai ECU mapping. If all else fails... Unichip.

The 1.6 liter version is quite powerful, even in the local non-direct injection form. In direct-injection format, it makes 138 horsepower without a turbo and at relatively low rpms, with a good, wide power band (I feel it's the first small engine that approaches the bar set by the Honda R18).

Not quite sure if the Ecoboost 2.0 belongs on that list... as it hasn't really set the world alight. The engine I'm most excited about there is the SkyActiv 2.0, as it's a really revolutionary approach to the internal combustion engine, despite not being turbocharged or hybrid.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
