They should sell this here instead of the Staria ....
Looks like it is coming ... https://www.topgear.com.ph/news/car-...ef=home_feed_1
"There are events and there are conversations. Sometimes interesting information is gleamed from conversations in events. And this is what happened recently.
There is a possibility that the Hyundai Custo will arrive in our market. Also called the Custin in the Taiwanese market, the Custo is a minivan that’s a little smaller than the Staria.
xxx
Again, depending on the pricing, the Custo could slot between the Staria and the Stargazer, filling a gap between those two models.
No official announcement of confirmation has been made by Hyundai Philippines yet. Stay tuned."
This will come in 2 trims:
HYUNDAI CUSTIN 1.5T GLS 8AT
Srp: 1,770,000
HYUNDAI CUSTIN 1.5T PREMIUM 8AT
Srp: 2,080,000
Not sure on the differences of specs though.
miles better ang loob nito vesus the parang rather low rent interior innova zenix
Even though this is a nice vehicle ... the Toyota Zenix will still outsell the Hyundai Custin ... better engine ... better brand ... better resale value... higher ground clearance ... still ... ugly interior ... seems like Toyota hires lowly paid interns for interior design ...
There is just small market for minivans ... Honda Odyssey was discontinued ... Hyundai Starex outsells Kia Carnival ... no one wants to be seen in a mom-mobile ... even though the Toyota Zenix and Toyota Innova are mom-mobiles ... but they're not minivans ...

not complaining. It just feels the Custin is due for a facelift anytime soon. Sa line up ng Hyundai, sila (plus suvs/crossovers) na lang ang wala pang LED lightbar sa harap.
I think the Hyundai Custin/Custo was only released in the Asean Market this year. Not sure about the Chinese version released in china thou. it may change in the next facelift in a few years.
Most of their SUV/Crossovers have the similar features of the Custin nga. The Tuscon is older and might be the first to be face lifted with a light bar if Hyundai plans to go that route for its SUV's.
This should be against the former toyota previa and honda odyssey (jdm model) alas these was discontinued several years ago.
1.5l engine only on our market? Hindi kaya underpowered ito for its size?
