Thought it would be nice to have a database of the PMS prices around the Hyundai dealerships.
Use this format for easier management.

    PMS Interval: (e.g. 1000km, 6months, etc.)
    CASA:
    Transmission:
    Price:
Specifics: (e.g. brought my own parts, excluded a certain task, etc.)
Comments: (please keep it related to the workmanship or anything particular about the CASA)
Experience: (tell us what happened, good or bad)

It would be nice also if you could tell us any positive or negative effect on the vehicle after the PMS such as feeling of more, or less power in the engine. etc.

Inquired with 3 casas for my first 1km/1 month PMS.

    Shaw:
    Semi Synth: ~3,048
    Full Synth: ~5,015
    Notes:
    - They allow bringing of own oil without voiding warranty but you have to pay 1,500 corkage. Total if my own oil, 2,290 + cost of oil.
    - They could not give me a straight answer if I can wait till I'm at 1km before having it serviced (only at 500m)

    Pasong Tamo:
    Semi Synth: ~2,800
    Full Synth: ~4,200
    Notes:
    - Bringing own oil voids warranty
    - Follows the km more than the month rule

    Greenhills:
    Semi Synth: ~3,800
    Full Synth: ~5,700
    Notes:
    - Bringing own oil voids warranty
    - Odd that they have different price with P. Tamo given they have the same owner

Sobrang gray area yan. The casa will tell you that in order to avoid warranty problems, have it done per schedule. Pero they will also tell you that they are "not strict".

Remember, sa PMS, casa ang kumikita. Sa warranty claim, facilitator lang sila. HARI ang naga-approve.

It pays to be friendly with the SAs & mechanics. On my 70k PMS, SA recommended a bunch of additives. I politely asked if it is urgently necessary since 80k is just around the corner. He agreed naman. As for the mechanic, instead of changing the air filter, he just recommended cleaning & recommended changing the a/c filter instead since it is really dirty. He also gave me left over brake anti squeal for use next PMS.

For those interested, I compiled a list of part numbers for the Accent CRDi PMS items:

    Item Specification
Engine Oil ACEA B4 or API CI-4
    Oil Filter P/NO 26320-2A500
Drain plug gasket (usually comes with oil filter)
    Air Filter P/NO 28113-1R100
    Fuel Filter P/NO 31922-2E900
Diesel Filter Water Sensor P/NO 31921-2J000
    AC Filter P/NO 39220-38030
    Brake Fluid FMVSS116 DOT3 or DOT4
    Coolant Ethylene Glycol base
Gear Oil API GL-4, SAE 75W/85, HA SYN MTF (SK), HD SYN MTF (H.K SHELL), GS PAO MTF (GS CALTEX)
ATF No info. (maybe guys with AT units add to this)

The fluid specs are according to the car manual and Hyundai folks I talked to.
