Reccomended engine oil for Tucson R-eVGT

Hi guys!

what kind of oil can you guys recommend for Tucson R-eVGT engines? i wanna know so that i could use the oil that you are recommending on my next PMS.

- Kixx Turbo RV 10W-40
- Hyundai Genuine Motor Oil 10W-40

Fully Synthetic:
- Motul CRDi Specific 10W-40
- Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel Truck 5W-40
- Hyundai Genuine Motor Oil 5W-40

*TS: Yung Mobil Delvac MX CI-4+ rating na yan. Pero specific kasi na synthetic pala yung genuine Hyundai oil so better stick with semi or fully synthetic oils.

Semi lang pala ang Kixx Turbo RV 10W-40...so palit pa rin every 5k. Not bad though coz its cheaper.

Hyundai hgmo is FS but not CI-4. I think the CI-4 mineral oil stands a better chance than a glorified CF.

Agree. Nung pinost ko yan hindi ko pa alam na CF rated yun HGMO FS oil. Kalokohan talaga nila.

Better buy Mobil 1 TDT or Motul CRDi Specific.

API rating yan sir. Mas bago ang CI-4 as compared to CF.

I suggest you go with Motul CRDi specific. Php599/Li.

Alternatively, Zic is Kia PH's recommended oil for its casa. Forgot the price, you can search sa sulit.

Personally, if ipilit nila un HGMO sa kin, I would contest to show me proof that its CI-4 as the owner's manual says specifically dapat ganun yun rating ng oil. Hmm, papayag siguro ako if hindi CRDI yun sasakyan.

There are motor oils of all kinds, just get the brand you want rated for diesel, 5w40 or 10w40. You won go wrong with both viscosities. I read somewhere that the newer Diesel engines run better and efficient using full synthetic, read also for our evgt engine.

I use Repsol.
