Cause I am having extremely high FC for may 2.0L gas tucson around, 18k/100L, I've checked my tire pressures and have set the tire pressure to the recommended psi rating of 33 but not much change for my FC. So I was thinking of putting more air around 40 psi maybe? since when I got my car from the casa the psi was more or less 40+ psi. Does having higher psi for your tires improve FC?

Definitely higher PSi would improve your FC. Possible din kasi na factor yung driving habits mo at daily route mo kaya ganyan kalakas ang FC mo.

But there's a possibility na mas madaling sumabog ang tires mo kasi over inflated.

And your ride quality will suffer. I got my Tucson (a year ago) in 54PSi. Damn sobrang tagtag

Ngayon palagi lang ako sa 33PSi. Try mo mag 35PSi.

No I don't. I usually use what fits my driving style and what is within my comfort zone for Km/L, with consideration for the tyres' wear and tear; Limited by the max PSI spec of the tyres...

I follow 33 psi as recommended, using nitrogen. Muka pa ngang malambot. Normal naman ang FC ko around 11 to 13 K/L. Mixed City and higway driving.

Yung Civic namin nasa 32PSI ang recommended. I normally fill up to 35PSI kasi gumagaan yung steering and it's easier to keep the car in motion without stepping on the gas pedal.

Not sure I'd go a lot higher than that though.

yup, i follow the recommended 33 psi pressure.. we have the same 2.0L variant but my FC is between 11 to 13.5kms/100 L city driving. Though I do check my tire pressure once every 2 weeks since it usually deflates during this period..Yes tama si SG posible na yung driving habits mo ang factor kaya mataas ang FC mo..Try to limit your RPM between 1500 to 2000 at iwasang humataw...

Most cars/suvs ok na sa 30psi. Ako 30 front/rear sa accent and 38 front 40 rear sa GS. My in-laws inflate their cars/suv's ng only 26psi, para daw hindi matagtag, hindi na daw bale palit sila ng palit ng gulong basta comfortable sila hehe

Check your door for the proper tire pressure, there should be a sticker there.

Do you follow the psi rating from the manual for your tires?
