There is only one row for safety for the new accent.
and they completely nailed it.

Dual airbags only on the top variant. No ABS across the line. My 1997 Toyota Granvia has both.
Nakakahiya ang HARI ngayon. Pataas ng pataas ang prices, pero walang kalaman laman ang mga sasakyan. Makain din sana sila ng Ayala tulad ng Kia.

Napansin ko rin na steel rims pa lahat. At walang bluetooth. Come on... ok lang kayo? Kahit totl man lang sana

Money is life but money is lifer. [emoji16]
HARI vehicles has always been bare since day 1. Pero nakakahiya nga. Considering the new vios has 7 airbags across all models.

For me they ceased to be a value proposition since the early 2010s.

Profit taking and not cost cutting. Ü

Hindi na talaga value proposition ang hyundai.
Though suprisingly for the first time at 2 pa all new sta.fe nakita ko kahapon. isa sa sm dasma and
again sa Alabang Town Ctr.
They are only value proposition when bought pre-owned, napakababa ng resale value ng mga yan so never buy brand new.
Get a three year old one and don't ever think of bringing it to casa.
Hyundais sell well in Australia because of the strong value their cars offer, I'm sure they would have made a bigger dent in the PH market had it not been HARI which distributes them.![]()
madaming napaniwala ang HARI nung dalhin nila stin ang Korean spec Sta.fe.
Sang damakmak na features, so ok lang kahit mas mahal at NO AWD features compared to australian spec because of the TRAIN law.
As usual, stripped down pagdating ng ph spec at the same over priced and 3mo/5km PMS.
Saw the Accent catalog, meron naman pa lang option if you want to have 2 front airbags. Yung sa Kona walang option, 6 airbags agad. I’d rather have 2 front airbags and reverse camera and sensor since mostly, driver lang naman ang nakasakay.
Before the congress and senate pass the child seat law, hopefully they pass a law that would require bnew cars to have a minimum 2 airbags and abs.

Speaking of the Accent, it was my car for the day. Very good engine for a subcompact, but the rest of the car is underhwelming.
Though in eyes of the typical buyer, having a powerful yet efficient diesel engine in a relatively cheap car is a very good point of differentiation, which is why the Accent is still the second best-selling subcompact out there.

I recall having some time w/ the previous gen petrol...twas the HOBOest rental that could be had. Served its purpose, a basic appliance. Sadly, nothing memorable but a pic of the plate to help me recognize the right white Hyundai.
