Sound Set-up for Tucson IX

Anyone here who already had their IX sound set-up or just planning like me? I had my old sound set-up from my Fortuner removed and planning to install it in my new Tucson.

hi sir ako din nasa planning stage right now. naka ready na ang sound set up ko for the tucson. problem is wala pang meron yung center console to retrofit a 2 din HU monitor for the tucson. pero sa hyundai abad santos meron silang naka set up na tucson with 2 din HU and mags. when i ask kung ngbebenta sila ng center console hindi daw. they are only selling as a set which include a 2 din HU monitor(i think china made) back up camera and center console the price is 60k!

Ang mahal naman ng aftermarket upgrade nila. Anyway, for now I'm not yet considering changing my HU as the dash kit console is still expensive might as well stick to the stock HU and just use a line driver for the meantime, ok naman yung sound ng stock HU ng mga Tucson natin eh ang problema lang pag over 10 na yung volume parang di na maganda ang bass ng system that's why I think a good SQ set-up would be the best solution. One more thing sayang kasi yung mga tinanggal ko sa Fortuner ko bago ko binenta. I have 2 amps installed before one 4 channel and 1 mono both Kenwoods, Kenwood sub and 1 RF capacitor. I'm just going to buy seps and coax kaso as of now I'm still undecided what brand to buy. Could you suggest from these brands RE, RF, Focal, DLS, or Infinity? I believe these are all good brands for SQL right? I just don't know what to choose for now.

Don't know yet kung ano stock HU ng IX eh pero usually pag stock HU at integrated Fujitsuten ang brand di ko lang sure kung same with Korean cars.

Kung malinis na sound quality lang naman ang gusto enough na ba na palitan lang ang stock speakers? or kailangan pa ng amplifier, subwoofer?


As much as possible kasi ayoko ng maraming masyadong galawin like yong tatanggalin yon stereo sa dashboard, worried lang kasi ako since new pa yong unit di pa kabisado ng mga installer baka kung ano ano ang matamaan.

Any suggestions that I can change/add na di na kakailanganin magbaklas ng so many things?

*junsd - Ako sir yun din ang worry ko eh, pero gusto ko na talaga pa-set up ang IX ko ang balak ko sana by May or June the latest medyo busy lang ako this April. I'm planning not to change my HU for the meantime and just use a line driver and a X-over just to satisfy myself, hehehe! Ok naman kasi ang sound ng stock HU natin eh tuning lang ang kailangan pag may X-over na. Kung sa baklasan naman ng parts yung installer ko dito sa area namin sya din ang installer nila sa Hyundai kung saan ko kinuha unit ko so I have no worry about it pag may nasira sya charge lang sa warranty, hehehe! Stick na muna tayo sa stock HU para walang masyadong cutting ng wires etc. and the way our IXs look mas dagdag talaga pogi points pag naka-set up ang sounds, hehehe!

depende po sa preference nyo, if yun pandinig nyo is satisfied na sa stock, okay na yun stock, itono lang. But if you want better, you need a nice seps, amp and subwoofer. Malayo kasi talaga ang difference.

sir for me ok na ok yung focal seps clear and crisp yung sound niya ang model na gamit ko focal k2p pero dont know kung meron pa yang model na yan sa market. ang problem lang hindi naten alam kung meron rca out yung stock HU ng tucson naten. and kung ilan wattage ng HU kasi baka hindi niya kaya i drive yung speakers sayang din kahit maglagay pa tayo ng amplifier. pero ok din yung morel and dls na brand pero dont know lang what specific model ang ok dun sa 2.
