Yes Sir. Current Tucson GL CRDi. One dealer told me units arriving August 6, I can opt for the newer units with Android HU, reverse camera and remote keyless alarm system with 100k discount or the older one with 110k discount.
My dad owns 2010 Sorento R-eVGT. Parts are cheap (outside CASA) and no problems so Far. Single airbag for the tucson is a bummer. Given that some minicars have dual airbags as standard.

August 8th, 2017 02:38 PM #282i went to hyundai last weekend. the entry level model doest have fog lamps, side repeaters, roofrack, leather seats, automatic climate control, passenger airbag, push stsrt, steering controls, immobilizer
and they are going to replace the standard hu with third party blackwood AVN unit with reverse cam, and third parry alarm, with 4 reverse sensors. no autosensing door locks, and the rims are the common alloy silver
priced at 1268000. no wonder people are opting for the Montero or MUX. eh 200k na lang may big SUV ka na. a mas durable pa sa current road conditions. i own a SF croosover 2nd gen, i know kung gano kahina ang suspension ng hyundai crossover sa kalsada natin, in 2 years time dami na lagutok.
this is one expensive car na pinamahal coz of what it's a diesel pero halos wala ka ma-enjoy na amenities . get the loaded version at 1.5M still no automatic controls and leather seats.
one expensive car, tapos Korean made lang, people who will buy this either have a different taste lang talaga or they dont know how they are duped in pto getting a close to handicapped car, imagine installing sftermarket keyless entry alarm, backup sensors and touch unit with reverse cam, source it all in lazada, you can get all of it P20k minus installation pa. any old car can install that.

August 8th, 2017 03:42 PM #284isipin mo kaya, most people have a hard time making the first million. the first million could mean 3-5 years of saving. then ma-woo ka sa 1.263M samantala yun Montero saka MUX 1.4M++ lang after discounts mas kumpleto pa sa amenities at of course, SUV talaga mataas at malaki
so if you say like save 1M to buy your dream car then buy a handicapped car then you're gonna get stuck with it for like 5 years more.
kawawa ka talaga sa pinaghirapan mo tapos ang makukuha mo lang kulang-kulang, for 200K more eh di dun ka na. I doubt if you can even call it entry level at those specs, parang 1990s pa yun spec na yan ah pero more ang charge sa 1.2M
just saying. and of course, it's korean. buti na lang launching ng CRV diesel ngaun. buti pa yun on paper specs swabe sa amenities and if they follow the pre-released pricing or near that then that's the true crossover diesel for Filipinos. walang keme, walang pretend, you get what you deserve at million bucks car.

August 14th, 2017 12:49 PM #285I have had Tucson now for just less than a year, and I'm happy with its performance. Gas AT model yung sa akin and it was very easy to own. Mas mahal pa yung bumili ka na mga ibang subcompact SUV considering na axle beam yung likod na suspension as compared to Tucson which has independent multi link suspension. I like Tucson's ride. It's even priced lower than some compact sedans. Yung add ons ko, I only spent about 35k with Pioneer HU.
I recently tested Subaru SV, they'll have a new model soon, and it was so powerful and engaging to drive. However, I was surprised na mas tahimik pa yung Tucson and mas Ok sa akin yung ride. Handling, of course SV is better. Mas preferred ko siguro yung comfortable kesa sporty ride. I don't know about the next model ng SV baka bibili din ako he he.
IMHO, if you'll buy just 1 car for the family and budget is a factor, pag pang 7 - PPV, pag small car - subcompact sedan, pero pag comfort and value for money - I'll still buy a Tucson. Habang wala pa yung bagong CRV, its now the best seller in compact SUVs in the country.
Maintenance cost is another good factor for me. 5 years warranty is very good. After the warranty, I buy original parts for almost half the price outside of casa and service my cars at the casa. Kaya cheaper. I have never encountered a major maintenance problem with my first Hyundai since I had it 7 years ago.

August 16th, 2017 01:18 PM #286This car just became overpriced at the price of 1.578M while the CRV V with more toys at the price of 1.569M. the higher trim still has no leathers seats, no OEM touch HU and rev cam (3rd party lang). Though this car looks better than the AUV looking CRV.
i guess the market will decide in the next months to come: a Japanese popular brand with all the toys of the modern age or this Korean beauty na kulang-kulang ang specs. these days, you can't market a car as Premium kung hindi man lang leather seats nor touchscreen
