its a given that casa maintenance is more costly than outside.... but you are also paying for workmanship warranty, parts warranty and worry free driving... plus a higher resale value for your car in case you may want to sell it in the future since its casa-maintained. not all brand new cars are assembled perfectly, baka may lumabas na defect eh mavoid ang warranty mo because you had it serviced sa labas.

IMHO, check the parts warranty ng mga casa, usually maiksi din yan... and its not a guarantee na mas mataas ang resale value kapag casa maintained...

Pero better stick to the required PMS kasi alam ko mas strict si HARI sa pag claim ng warranty...

if you have the moolah stick with casa. pero yung 5year warranty parang marketing ploy lang yan.

depende siguro sa car. kung mura lang..baka pwede pa. pero sa mga mid or high priced car, i wont sacrifice warranty.

for the first 2 years siguro mag CASA ka para kung meron lumabas na defect under warranty pa, but after that f*ck them! lahat naman hinde kasama sa warranty eh pag nag claim ka except kung talagang meron recall or something.

and after ondoy sa dami ng nabahang kotse, nawala na lahat warranty nila eh ako pa matatakot eh hinde naman naman nabaha sasakyan namin kaya after that kahit I still have 4 years warranty to go in two of our cars eh bahala sila. f*ck the warranty

^ kaaga-aga init ng ulo ah.

Overpriced kasi labor sa casa, that is why if you're going to buy a brand new car, dapat kasama na sa financial computations yung 3 years na PMS and other incidental costs just to make sure you can enjoy that peace of mind. If alanganin kasi, better save some more or work harder!

Sacrificing 5 year Warranty vs. Cheaper Maintenance?
