How do you distinguish an imitated hummer from a real one?

Ive seen lots of hammer or real hummers on the road. Kanina kase dumating ang VIP client namin ang dala hummer. I am convinced that its a real one since opisyal sya ng gobyerno eh and I dont think he will buy the carbon copy.

So pano nyo malaman kung totoo or hindi?

look between the wheels... if it has live axles, it's proudly Pinoy made :D

real hummer has independent front and rear suspensions. check the width too... real hummers are more than 80 inches wide. you could check out the interior as well, the real thing has a really huge center console that divides the interior into four "rooms".

Hummer has independent suspension and 7-slot grille. AMC Hammers have live axles and a 6-slot grille.

Actually, yung akin, malaki din ang gitna dividing my car into 4 rooms. believe me, it's hard to adjust aircon. some one is freezing while the other is sweating. iba yung climate sa katabi mo. iba din yung nasa likod mo.

Axles lang talaga kung di ka sanay. Kami isan tingin lang alam na but thats cuz we look at one every day. Kapag independent, mala inverted na V ang ilalim, orig.

basically, the easiest way is yung width. the real hummer, the gen1 anyway, will be taking up a lane and a half on the road. the amc hammer, eksakto lang in one lane.

I agree may nakita nga ako sa may Times sa UPHR side view pa lang fake na..Yung nakakasalubong ko na dilaw sa paranque na Hummer orig(I think)yun..

totally agree... I've seen one in dau... occupied nya 3/4 ng 2 lane road. hirap na hirap magpark sa chowking :D

I also saw the unit owned by the Philippine Airforce skydiving team nung Hot air baloon festival sa clark. malapad talaga, tapos nakatatak, 6L turbodiesel. May butas sa gitna yung bubong, siguro lalagyan ng machinegun turret.
