Car seat cover replacement

Hi guys, I don't know if this a the correct section, I own a 99 civic AT, nakaleather seat sya, do you prefer leather seats dun sa mga tela or corduroy ba tawag dun? I'm planning to replace my leather seat cover kasi grabe ang init ngayon, ano po ba maganda replacement sa leather? pros and cons po kaya? Thanks....

Leather seats are nice pag malamig ang panahon. Kelangan lang ng konting maintenance para hindi magbitak bitak (pinapahiran ng leather conditioner every once in a while).

Downside nga lang ng leather pag nabilad ng matagal ang kotse sa parking. Masyado mainit pag inupan. Best to use cloth material pag summer months and leather material pag cold/rainy months.

ngayon summer gamit ko yung corduroy na free na binigay ng casa. pwede din remove mo muna yung leather seat mo tapos ibalik mo nalang pag wet season na.

I'd rather keep the leather seats bro.... Gamitan mo na lang ng tuwalya para upuan at sandalan, if you have no choice but to park under the sun.... Else, take extra effort/money in parking in a covered parking area....

Ang leather seat ay sumusunod sa panahon.kung mainit,mainit din at nakakapaso pa.pag malamig,malamig din syempre.pero better huwag ka na gumamit leather.huwag mo na lagyan cover.Yun kuldoroy pangit tignan.parang old car o taxi.hehe

I presume everybody is talking about leatherette seats and not genuine leather seats?
Mas mainit talaga yung leatherrete kapag mainit ang panahon.

yup, genuine leather hindi masyado nakakapaso sa pwet pag nabilad. yung nakakapaso yung fake leather. genuine leather cools a lot faster too. buksan mo lang door mga ilang segundo malamig na ulit. sarap pa sa balat, hindi malagkit gaya nung fake.

paano ba malalaman kung original or fake ang leather? I presume trying to burn it? hehe..

I acquired last year an FD 1.8S. Posible kayang gawing genuine leather lahat yung seats? As in yung parehong kulay at texture ng magazine storage sa likod ng front seats na pareho rin ang kulay ng plastic moulding ng seats?
