97 city exi trunk light switch

just bought a 97 city exi. i noticed the trunk light doesnt turnon when opening the trunk.neither the positive nor negatives line is active.what could ahve gone wrong? where is the switch located?please anyone help?

try turning the key open sa trunk and see kung umilaw. baka nawala lang contact niya sa metal.

kung umilaw, lihain mo na lang yung mga contact ok na yan.

sir, you mean nasa key/or latch yung ground contact?

Sir, mine is a '97 City too. Ganyan din ang sa trunk lite ko, di umiilaw pagkabukas ng trunk. Try switching ON the park lites. Yan ang ginagawa ko para umilaw yung trunk lite.
