INQUIRY : BUYING CARS, What to be aware of

Hi again, before i proceed with my inquiry. I'd like to thank CivicVti, Renzo_d10 and archie123456789 for having their opinions posted in my thread. I really learned something from your posts and i really appreciated it.

CIVIC '98

Now, as I was to ask:
What should I be aware of when buying a second hand car?

1- How to determine if the car was already flooded?

2- How to check the body for repaired damages and restored from rust?

3- What OTHER THINGS to check? (papers, records, etc)

4- What other engine problems do usually occur if a car was already this old?

5- What engine problems do occur and to check when a car was used for drag racing or a race car for a long time (race car owners sell their cars cheaper to attract buyers and to dispose their cars fast right?-sorry if i am offending anyone about this. I am just being straight forward.)

6- what engine problems should I be aware of when buying a second hand car?

7- what do you do to conceal those problems to disposed the cars fast?

8- how long does hidden engine problems usually show?

6- what engine problems should i be aware of when buying a second hand car? Check kung "re-wired na" meaning not original wiring lombs

7- what do you do to conceal those problems to disposed the cars fast? Sell sa casa or trade in para no question ask.

8- how long does hidden engine problems usually show? ?????
