Preferably a sedan, big enough for a family with 2 kids and is fuel efficient. I'm planning to sell my Big Body for a more powerful and a more recent one.

    Thanks in advance.

Well if you're not picky an LXi or VTi 1999 - 2001 model civic will do.

    let me see...

1996-1998 LXi and VTi civics go from 170-210 now... automatic/manual
1999-2000 LXi and VTi civics go from 220-280... a/t or m/t

going up the scale (and going up the fuel consumption too):
    1996-1998 accord less than 250
    1999-2001 accord less than 300
medyo malakas lang sa gas... parang naka adventure/revo. the good part is the interiors of these cars are so big your kids can play inside. fast and powerful engines too, at mas matibay ang pang-ilalim.

medyo beyond your budget ang 1st generation CRV... lowest i've seen is 310. eto sana maganda eh, compared to your old big body the interior is gigantic, at 4wd pa.

other cars you can get for 250 and less:

A civic 96 to 2000 LXi manual would be a perfect choice.

Your best bet is an EK Civic, 1996-2000.

Have ES Civics (2001-2005) hit the 250k barrier yet? Those might be worth considering if they have.

Chief practicality wise if you have a family with 2 kids Honda sedans are not suits to you.. if you love HONDA go for CRV Gen 1 i know its over your budget but its reasonable chief you may consider widen your budget get a SUV like Isuzu Highlander 97-99mdl, Adventure 97-99mdl...etc.. sabi nga nila Honda VTi owners mostly are "SINGLE" Honda VTI is a "pimp car" its like a fishing rod you know what i mean...:drunk:

250k budget for a 2nd hand Honda,any recommendations?
