Wheel size for 96 Accord?

I'm planning to upgrade my wheels to 17 inch wheels. I own a 1996 Accord VTi. I want to ask the owners of similar accords what wheel size and offset they use and what tire size they recommend? Any help would be much appreciated. I'm planning to buy Rota for my ride.

Hmm... I thought my stock tire was a 195/60R 15? That was what was pasted on my door by honda. Will running a tire size of 215/45R 17 be okay? Will it cause some space issues in the wheel wells? Or should I stick to 205/50R 17 instead?

Should'nt be a problem, 215 is okey even 225. Most important is the wheel offset of the new rim to avoid rubbing issue.

So lets say I go with a 205/50R 17 tire to play it safe, what offset would you recommend for the wheels? +38, +40, or +45? I was gonna choose a +40. What do you think?

+40 close to perfect its going to be a 8mm less in the inside of the wheel to the strut housing and extend an extra 18mm on the outside edge of the wheel. This calculation is not an exact fitment you must ask your installer to mount the new wheel and see to it if rubbing is an issue before leaving the shop. Good luck.
