problem w/ my 91 civic ef sedan w d15b engine

Mga sir.,

nagpalit ako ng stock engine ng 91 ef sedan ko to d15b.. the problem is.. naghihingalo sya, i min taas baba ung rpm, w/ or w/out ac, sabi ung sa servo ba un? ung sensor ata dun..and pnu ba magdiagnose ng computer box ng d15b? mkikita ko kya dun ung prob? anu po ba maganda kong gwin and proper maintenance sa ganitong makina?

sana matulugnan nyo ko... kindly reply hir or txt me or call if may maitutulong kayo or advice sakin 09154102092....

kadalasan problema ng EFI engine ay ERRATIC IDLING . Bababa , tataas at hindi nakapirmis. Ang dahilan nito ay:
1Dirty throttle body need to be clean
2. MAF sensor kailangan rin linisin
3.Idle air control valve need to be clean. Ito iyong servo.
4. pagnaayos na ito ,Patiming mo sa according sa spec ng makina mo.
5. Dirty air filter.
Pacheck mo muna ito o pa scan mo muna para ma diagnose problema. consult 11 .

sir may nbibili bang gadget pra ako na mismo magdiagnose ng com box ko? or san ba mganda bumili ng mga parts like ung mga sensors?

sir pwede ko ba mlmn location mu bka kc mlapit ka lng samin bka mtulugnan mko la pa kc ako msyado alam sa mga gnito... mlki na kc ngastos d parin maayos ung takbo...

Sir I had the exact same problem before sa d15b ko - erratic idling w/ or w/o aircon...

What i did:

Nilinis ng carburator cleaner yung throttle manifold through the butterfly (not sure kung butterfly din ang term dun, alam ko pang carb ang butterfly eh)... basta yung parang butterfly wings
Make sure malinis yung air filter. Most likely madumi na po yun kaya nagchchoke na
Added fuel injector cleaner gas additive sa gas tank ko
(STP Fuel Injector Cleaner mix sa Petron XCS)
I assume stock pa po yang makina, better yet reset the ECU ... just make sure it runs on p08, yun po kasi ang ECU ng d15b

Please note na kakatapos ko lang po magpatune-up nun (ie bago spark plugs, oil, air filter)...

Sabi nung shop baka sa timing lang so check din nila but to no avail...
Ingat lang po if ever dadalin niyo sa shop meron kasing mga nanghuhula lang ng sakit... in my case simpleng valve cleaning lang pala solusyon

kung erratic yung rpm palinis yung throttle body and IACV then palitan yung gasket. kung wala pa rin intake manifold palinis na. kung wala pa rin... hindi ko na alam. hehe

Sir,

Suggest you bring your car to a shop equipped with proper scan tool and mechanics who are trained and knowledgeable on EFI systems. I'm also experiencing that kind of problem with my Nissan Sentra 1.6 ECCS after replacing defective air flow sensor which was diagnosed using scan tool. Next trouble came out was loose timing chain which causes erratic idling which was diagnosed by using vacuum gauge. We still have to check the tensioners before replacing the timing chain.

Pag nagpalit ka ng timing chain/belt diba kasama na rin dapat palitan ung tensioner nun diba sir? so ibig sabihin ba pag nagpalit ka ng chain/belt kasama tensioner most likely ba masosolve ang erratic idling? ganito rin kasi problema ko sa auto sir. 96 Honda Civic Lxi. thanks

napalinis ko na ugn servo ko, gnun prin, check ko ung air intake and filter pati sensor bka skling nndun, if wla try ko mga advise nio mga sirs... ask ko lng kung may lmpit sainyo sa las piñas, bka mas matulungn io ko tnx.
