If you remember in the 1970's it feels like it is today even worse pa nung time na yun. Gas prices back then went so high that the economy tanked, high unemployment, and severe stagflation. And that is where the Japanese car makers made their mark in the US because the typical US car back then were huge gas guzzlers...
