Takaw daw sa gas 'to, according to HCP member owners, city driving is beyond 6-7km/l lang.. Hway cruising can reach up to 9-11km/l, daw?!? that's according to some owners ha, but may vary for every usage and operation of the car parin yan. Or browse some of the previous threads on this site, alam ko meron dito nyan.

    Engine: 2.3L SOHC 16v VTEC, 157hp?! 210nm (torque), m/t & a/t.

around P450k less na lang ata 'to,.. I saw before yung ganitong model, P380k NEG. pa, rush kasi that's why!

Since I own a 2.0L too, I like this ride talga, kung may budget lang me, eto ipapalit ko. iba kasi pag mid-size w/ big engine, sarap irekta, comfort ride, maluwag etc., ganda pang pormahan! setback only is the fuel consumption, gas guzzler!

6-7 km/li city? hmmm not so bad, parang mas efficient pa sa CRV ng konti ah. Medyo tanggap ko na ang 6-7 km / lit kasi yung gusto kung kotse are 2.0 liter cars. wala naman talaga cgurong 2.0 liter na late 90's na 9-10 km / li.

anybody know the engine code? H22 ba to? what is the "L" in VTi-L for?

yung malaki, matipid at may hatak lang yata ngayon eh either yung mga bagong pick-up (dmax and hilux) or yung mga diesel SUV (Montero or Fortuner). Kaso milyon naman ang halaga ngayon.. hehehe

    H22A yata.

the -L is just the trim level, hindi gaya ng Camry VVTi-L na which means variable lift as well as variable timing.

I get around 6.5-7km/L pure city driving with this car. Mine is A/T by the way. Nice ride, nilalamon lang nya yung mga bumps like they don't exist... Laki lang nga fuel tank nya so mas masakit tignan yung price if I refuel it full tank compared to my Civic. But we have to be realistic you are not getting a cramped compact vehicle, you're getting a spacious, luxurious vehicle with ample leather, wood and chrome so with luxury comes price. No one said the high life comes cheap
