tsikoters, possible ba na lagyan ng power antenna ang civic lxi 99 wherein naka manual antenna siya.

Can you reccommend shops who are doing the job.

Pwede lagyan kaso di ko recommend. Bukod sa bubutasin ang body ng kotse, madaling maputol ang plastic cable sa loob ng power antenna mechanism. Prone din maupod at mabali ang plastic gears sa loob, magiging stuck ang antenna. May '96 Civic Vti ako dati at dalawang beses na ako nagpapagawa nyan, after ilang months bumabalik lagi ang sakit kaya nag give up na ako.

Pwede naman, pero yung pillar antenna mo magiging redundant unless patakpan mo and repaint.

Yung power antenna ko nilagyan ko ng manual off switch para pwede siya bumaba without turning off the radio. Useful kung madaming mga branches or trees na pwede siya sumabit or when I'm listening to a CD and hindi ko naman kelangan ng antenna.

It's just a generic switch to break the flow of electricity to the antenna para mag auto retract siya.

yes im planning to repaint my car. so patatakpan ko or tatanggalin ko na yung antenna ko sa harap.

what about sa power antenna. any other shop?mga magkano kaya?

Ballpark for the power antenna is Php1,500 for generic units. The body shop can mount the antenna. I usually have mine wired up by Jameson (nasa Security forums and contact number niya and pwesto sa Banawe).
