Honda Civic Hood

tanong lang... is it normal to be able to lift the hood of the 2004 honda civic until it is vertical (or even beyond)? i though the hood had some sort of stopper to prevent you from lifting the hood too high?

That's perfectly normal. On the 8th Gen Civic, there's 2nd hole where you can insert the pole so that the hood is about 90 degrees up. This gives mechanics more elbow room to work on the engine.

ah ok. thanks. pinalitan kasi yung front windshield ko. looks like they loosened the hood in the process.
