Honda Cars PH president to retire; will be succeeded by a lady | Autoindustriya
this year as Masahiko Nakamura will be completing his 3-year term as HCPI president. But that’s not all: insiders tell us that Nakamura-san is likely completing his career with Honda and retiring afterwards. The name of the incoming president is Miss Rie Miyake.
Miyake-san is actually making a bit of history in the local auto industry because she will be the first lady president of a Japanese automobile company here.
Is Honda Cars PH launching another hybrid soon? | Autoindustriya
HCPI was given regulatory approval for a new passenger vehicle with a 1993cc engine. With a reference weight of around 1532 kg, Honda's mystery vehicle appears to be a hefty sedan. After cross-checking the numbers and the engine size, we've come to the conclusion that HCPI could possibly launch either the Civic e:HEV or the Accord e:HEV.best guess is that HCPI will bring the Civic e:HEV to complement the VTEC Turbo models.
Honda Cars PH announces recall for almost 7k units | Autoindustriya
recall for the high-pressure fuel pump that affects select CR-V RS e:HEV units sold from 2023 to 2024. The faulty part could cause cracks in the system which could result in the customer smelling gasoline while idling and driving.steering gearbox that affects 5,505 units. Symptoms of this issue include snagging, having unusual sounds and vibration while turning. HCPI says Due to the decrease in grease amount in the worm gear, meshing area of the electric power steering gearbox during use, the sliding resistance in the meshing area increases and the torque fluctuation becomes larger while turning the steering wheel. This results in an unusual sound and an unsmooth turn from steering while turning or ‘sticky steering’ that might make the driver feel a sense of unease.
No WR-V? That’s surprising! I wonder if they’re holding it off for a later release or focusing on other segments first. Excited to see what the 3 new models are though
