I'd go for the civic fd too. Overall It's just the better , more robust car

The only real advantage the gd has is it's 60:40 rear folding rear seats. It creates a lot of boot space for your big doodads in case you'll need it

The gd can be a bit more frugal but for its class, the more superior 1.8 liter r18 engine of the fd is no slouch in that department either

The Civic FD is one class higher so expect more refinement than the GD Jazz, kahit na i-compare mo with a newer generation jazz

Value for money definitely winner ang FD, reliability & maintenance since pareho silang honda pareho lang sila ng score dito.

Your deciding factor i think will be the fuel efficiency of both cars. The R18 engine of the civic is known to be a bit of a gas guzzler. While the L13/L15 engine of the jazz is a fuel sipper. (Matipid)

unless you need smallness in the car, i recommend the larger car. it rides better.

AT, cost difference for repairs will be worth the convenience.

if your clutch pedal is light, the stick is soft and ergonomic, and the engine has good low end torque,"you'll survive".

Jazz gd with a k20 engine swap

Seriously, we just acquired an a/t FD 2.0S-L. mas gamit ko un ngayon compared to my GD m/t kahit na malakas sa gas. Haha.

Oh yes hehe grabe lang talaga ung fuel consumption. I think I'm just getting 6-7kms per liter lang pero I dont mind. Haha

I can sympathize w/ the gasp inducing consumption bro, but then again, it is what it is [emoji1]

6-7 km/L is acceptable for a car with the K20 engine. The 2nd gen CRV and 7th gen Accord with K20 engines can do only around 5-6 km/L.

I was also thinking of civic fd vs jazz ge. Mas mura kasi fd pero mas magastos sa gas
