Help: About Aircon ng honda city

Magandang gabi ho, bago ko sana patignan sa technician e tanong tanong muna dito.

Kanina pauwi ako bulacan galing ako del monte, qc.

naka aircon, super lamig kahit number 1 o 2 palang, ang thermo nya nasa lagpas lang ng kalahati malamig na.

pero kanina pauwi ako, bigla nawala yung lamig (gumagana parin yung blower). ano kaya ang diprensya neto?

nung hindi pa nagloloko yung aircon, pag pinindot ko yung A/C switch(turn off) baba idling so hindi umaandar compressor right? pag turn on ko na, taas konti idling nya so gumana na compressor.

pero ngayon ayaw na gumana compressor pag turn on ko, tapos minsan tumataas minor ko.

tapos maya maya, gagana na ulit, ano kaya problema?

suspetsa ko e yung thermo switch (yung pinipindot o yung pinipihit) ang nagloloko.

any suggestion pls?

Malamang bumibigay na ang magnetic clutch or switch sa compressor kaya nag-o-off sya (may diode kasi dun na pag nabasa ng tubig nasisira...or sa katagalan na din). Narerepair naman yan sa aircon specialists.

Pwede din na low na ang freon level kaya nag-o-automatic shutdown ang compressor (para hindi sya masira). Pa-check nyo ang system for leaks.

Fluctuating idle? No cooling even when the A/C compressor is on? That happened to me December 2008. My car's a 2005 GD-chassis Jazz.

First thing you should do is have the system cleaned. You most likely have a high-pressure situation in your A/C refrigerant lines because the parts and hoses are dirty - most especially the evaporator. Even if the magnetic clutch on the compressor engages, it cannot do its job because there's just too much dirt.

They say using gel-type air fresheners (e.g. MyShaldan and similar types) clogs up evaporators pretty badly...you might want to look into that. I've been using organic air fresheners (e.g. California Scents) the past year and I haven't had problems with A/C system clogging about two years after.

yung sakin naman hindi gaano lumalamig pag nasa number 1, kapag nasa number2 naman yung lamig na ine-emit niya is parang number1 nung bago siya.

pag naka-stop ako on stop light, yung rpm ng koche is pumipitik pataas from 1-2 mga 2-3 times na. and may sound na parang wheezing or hissing sound dun sa may passenger side na aircon, not sure kung dun sa may glove compartment or dun sa may airvent mismo..

(naka limutan ko kung alin don lilinisin yata or what). pero hindi daw sila sigurado ibalik ko nalang daw pag nagka problema ulit, e ang kaso, bihira mangyari pag malapit lang biyahe.

Thanks sir sa sagot nyo! Yes tumataas ang idling nasa 1.3 to 1.6 yata pero hindi malamig o hindi yata umaandar compressor pero naka on yung A/C switch wala lang lamig, pero ang taas ng idling nya kailangan pang patayin yung aircon para bumaba. california scents po gamit ko

pareho nga tayo sir ng problem kasi tumataas nga yung rpm ko, tapos ala naman lamig. ok naman yung lamig ng sakin kahit number 1 lang o number 2 ginaw na ko. ang problema ko talaga yung compressor minsan ayaw ng lumamig tapos taas pa idling nya.

Take note sir, minsan lang naman mangyari, which is nakakainis parin.


Mga boss, sana may mag comment pa! ang naiisip ko palinis muna yung aircon baka matagal na hindi na service-san.

Suddenly the nawala yung lamig. I tried to shut off the A/C switch and turn it on again after two minutes, wala pa rin. Since its already time for gas-up, I drop by a gas station, shutdown the engine and have a gas refill. After which, when I left the gas station I tried to turn the A/C ON again and the cooling was back.

The 2nd time was just this afternoon. I was stuck in a slow moving traffic and after five minutes the aircon cooling was gone again. I have noticed also an increase in the idling speed reach up to 2k RPM but sometimes fluctuates. When I push-off the A/C switch with the car on halt, the idling RPM goes back to normal level. The same things happened as mentioned above- after the car rested for several minutes with engine and A/C off, the cooling went back to normal when I restarted the car.

Is there something like Thermal Overload or protection for the aircon? Kasi na notice ko pag naka takbo ang car at normal running speed (no traffic) ok naman function ng AC. May this due to better cooling sa engine radiator and a/c condenser fins dahil malakas ang hangin pumapasok engine compartment pag normal ang takbo ng car.

Sa mga expert sa aircon, please help naman....

Since you mentioned that your car's aircon is cold when you're driving at speed, your auxiliary fan may be failing. Not enough air is going through the condenser fins when the car is at a standstill (fan is turning slower than usual), resulting in high pressure and inefficiency in cooling. Have the condenser fan checked...and also the thermostatic sending unit (the thermostat that tells when the fan should engage or disengage).

Hi sir, siguro sa aux fan lang yung sayo pag naka hinto ka e mabagal din ang ikot nun.

Yung sakin kasi mas mahirap, minsan kahit tumatakbo e nawawala yung lamig. Minsan naman hindi tinotoyo.

Oh okay. The previous owner might have used gel-type air fresheners however.

The idle speed is going up precisely because the compressor is trying to do its job. However it cannot provide any cooling due to the dirt in the lines, so it's trying to work as hard as it can - taking the engine along with it. Remember that the compressor is basically driven by a belt off the engine crankshaft.

Try to get it cleaned ASAP and see what happens. I used to recommend A/C cleaning every year, but I've tried skipping out this time. So far so good, after 1-1/2 years, but I recommend having it cleaned before summer hits (for obvious reasons)

Matanong ko lang kung ano po magandang aircon compressor for a hinda city type z 03 and how much kaya po? May nakita ako sa local store dito sa batangas na sanden brand, okay po ba yun? Universal daw po yun. Defective na po kasi talaga yung compressor, sobrang ingay na, nagwiwiggle pa. Papaltanin na daw as per my mechanic.

baka puede pang ayusin ang compressor, kung bearings or magnetic clutch lang ang problem.

when buying replacement compressors, be sure the mounting bolts are properly aligned with the mounting ears.
even the so-called "universal compressors" may vary in external construction, so as to make mounting difficult.

Tingnan ko din po kung pwede pa syang madala sa ganun. For now, we removed the belt for the a/c compressorto avoid further damage.

Mga sir, ano kaya po ang magandang ipalit na compressor (sanden brand)? Yun lang po ang inooffer ng ac technicians, although may icoconvert po.
