Dami talagang nangyayaring negative sa automotive industry ngayon. General Motors mawawala sa Thailand pati sa Australia at NZ. Ngayon Honda naman sa Pinas

Honestly, wala akong nakikitang sense na sa Pinas gawa yung City and BR-V...

For a company's perspective, either Thailand or Malaysia, since connected sila sa mainland South East Asia and Malay Peninsula.

Made in Indonesia, malaki naman talaga market nila.

Different case. GM will do a complete pull out from its remaining right-hand drive markets. Honda will stop local production/ assembly but will stay in the Philippines, the only difference is all models will be imported CBU.

I mean, kaya nga lumabas mas mahal srp niyan kasi dito gawa.

Covered naman kasi iyan ng international QA ng Honda, so there should be minimal differences between assembly sites....

And they would normally go for the most cost effective option...

Maybe one factor also from what I read is that yung union group ng mga workers ay from KMU, if pinasok yung company ng KMU for sure sasara yan.

Could be one of the factors (is this confirmed?).

Their plant is in Laguna,- malakas pa rin ang mga unions diyan.....

    -

di talaga forte ng Pinas ang manufacturing

    pang import lang talaga

tapos ang pang earn natin ng $$$ OFW and BPO

Kung gawin ng govt na bawal union pag sa mga industrial park based yun plant then long term incentives bigay sa company.
