it looks like the honda accord's midlife cycle refreshening is more extensive than the camry's (last year). taken in a minnesota mall parking building using a camera phone, these fuzzy pictures appear to suggest a new rear look for the accord (incidentally, most complaints about the accord are about the rear lights)-- not to mention power bumps (the current hp's of US accord are 160 and 240).
i don't know about ASEAN accords, but our 2005's rear lights have also changed color: to 99% red (nor more white parts).

    2006 Accord?

Looks more respectable, but copycat Sonata still fared better.

yup, the Sonata does look like an Accord, but somehow the guys at Hyundai managed to reduce the "big butt" look.

Will they throw in electronic stability control and HID headlamps to compete with the mazda6?

In the Philippines, it is only the Accord 3.0 V6 that comes equipped with the Traction Control System (TCS), which I believe is the same as the "electronic stability control".

Yup... too bad there is not enough demand in the RP for them to sell it here(it might also be a bit expensive to import it CBU from the US where its made in).

I still think that the INSPIRE (UC1) is waaaay better than its fellow US Accord look-a-like.

Too bad pang-Japan lang ito (aw man.......)

IMO This would be the best exterior form for the face-lifted Accord.

The Chinese market Accord(most likely similar to the "soon to be launched" facelifted ASEAN Accord) isn't that bad either....
The exterior of the Inspire is almost identical to the USDM Accord except for the bigger grill and hood bulge.

I still think though that the UC-1 INSPIRE has the better exterior form and has amazing interior to make it stand out even more.

    I mean you get:
-turn signal mirrors as standard equipment on all variants
    -HID Xenon lamps
    -The high-powered J30A 3.0 i-VTEC Engine with VCM
    -And many more.

Plus, you can get Nighthawk Black Pearl and match it with black fabric or leather seats and PIANO BLACK dash trim.

IMO this should've been our Accord instead.
