mga sir, im a newbie pagdating sa mga cars nakabili po ako 2007 honda civic 1.8v, nakakakita po ako ng 1.8s anu po ba pnagkaiba nila? thanks po

My family owns both variants. 2007 1.8V and 2008 1.8S

Dami difference. Mags, foglights ( comes standard sa 1.8S ), kulay ng interior, airbags for S variant, ABS and EBD etc..

Same engine though

Just change the stock mags of your 1.8V which is 15" to the 16" of 1.8S and it will look exactly as 1.8S.

^ + Body color on the mudguards and shave off the "1.8V" (or just the "V") decal and nobody'll be the wiser.

IMO, the reason a lot more people went with the 1.8S variant was that, the price difference is not that too far from the 'V' for the extra amenities that the 'S' has. A few of the people I know who got the 'V' variant were those who originally thought of buying the top-end City or Jazz, then decided they just needed to add a bit more cash for the Civic 'V' and they already have a full sedan.

The speed sensing lock came in 2008 for the S variant (ATA). Not sure about the 3 point seatbelt.

The speed-sensing door locks and 3-pt seatbelt para sa rear center seat came out together for the 2008 1.8S model. Pinagpilian ko yan when I got my 2007 Civic in Jan 2008. 50 or 60k difference din nila. Eventually, I chose the 07 Civic and used the extra money for ICE.
