Seriously - your pickup isn't meant for drag racing. It's rated at below 100hp while the SIR has 160hp and at stock can clip the 1/4 mile in 15+ seconds.

ang pinagkaiba ng diesel pick-up mo b16a na SIR is your torque rating! max torque ka na agad sa low rpm, siya hindi pa, kaya feeling mo lakas hatak. another factor weight. masmabigat ride mo compare sa SIR.sure yan.

ako kaya ko makipagsabayan gamit maxima ko sa b18c EG hatch, pero up to 2nd gear lang, talo ako sa kambiohan...6000rpm redline ko, e b18c sa 7500 ata...

obviously, its a waste of effort kung gagamitin ko liteace 4wd diesel ko against an SIR!

4d68 2.0TDIC ng mitsu RVR rated at 110ps*3500-4500rpm, max torque agad at 2250rpm*21.0kg-m!

liteace ko 17.5kg-m*2250rpm lang....

drive the modern CRDI 1.5L of hyundai, sasabihin lalampasuhin mo ang SIR....

pero eto sure ko lalampaso sa SIR na yan:toyota landcruiser V8!, lalo na ung mga supercharged LCs ng mga arabo.....merican muscle lang ata iiyak na SIR na yan,e....

how did you do your 1/4 mile timing? actual speed trap or just using a stopwatch?

A 1992 Sentra 1.6L can do 1/4mile in 15.8 seconds on street tires.

16.7 eh yan ang oras ng SIR ko nung bone stock pa! and pano mo nga pla inorasan yan pa stop watch? kasi may kaibigan ako naka SIR all stock tas inorasan nya gamit stopwatch lumabas na oras eh 14.9 from an all stock sir ha!

By the way pano mo nalamang b16b ung kinarera mo at kung b16b un eh nde SIR un type-r na un!
B16B tinalo mo eh oto ko nga pantayan lang sa B16B!!
gusto mo testing nalang tayo sa SIR ko!

I used to drive a 1992 Nissan Sentra 1.6L ... it does 15.8 seconds on the 1/4 mile as measured by my G-Tech Pro meter. A Honda Civic SiR will still outrun me to the end of the 1/4 mile by roughly a second. My current car, a 1999 Corolla Gli A/T, does 16.1 to 16.5 seconds on the 1/4 mile.

So that means your 16.7 seconds is dead slow by whatever means you measured your pickup.

ive raced a lot of 1.6Ls and some 2.0Ls in NLEX using one of our diesel pickups (L200, Isuzu LS, Nissan Classic) and i've won quite a few rounds

Would those "races" include speeds above 140kph? All 1.6L & 2.0L cars are capable of bringing it to 180-200kph mark. I'd pay to see a stock L200 go past 140kph. :lol:

Not all vehicles in the expressway wants to "race". Most are content with sticking to the speed limit (between 80-120kph).
