based on the 2006 Civic threads here in tsikot and in motioncars, it will be the JDM Civic. I read somewhere also that the JDM Civic will be introduced here. Toyota Prius for the Phils? Probably. Pag nakita nila na successful yung CIvic hybrid.

Honestly no, hybrids are expensive no matter how much gas you save. period. There's the question of the reliability of the battery. Once that battery is busted, what will one do then?

A better alternative to hybrid are cars that burn fuel more efficiently such as gasoline compacts like Honda Jazz and City or Diesel CRDi compacts such as the Hyundai Getz and Matrix.

I think i'd rather spent my money on Suzuki Swift and new Toyota Yaris than buying a hybrid car.Ang peste dyan ay yung electric motor at battery, ewan ko kung maayos yan ng dealers.

hmmmmm...they have to know how to fix these cars. Pero siyempre, may trained techs naman for that. Ang masama dyan, you cannot bring your hybrid car to your trusted neighborhood mechanic, sa casa lang. Mahal magmaintain ng hybrid.

    No Cefiro in the poll...
Nissan, time to bring the Teana!

    About the Hybrids..
I think its they are just too expensive...

By the way, the ASEAN Yaris 1.5 was just launched in Thailand, I'd rather have that over the Camry-priced Prius.

it's not a stable technology yet. the hybrids here in the states are still going through their growing pains and are still not very reliable.

sir, if have the money, i would not put my money on a civic 2.0 DOHC A/T. pero kung maglalagay pa rin ang Honda ng top-of-the-line na variant with M/T variant, well i might consider it....
-Sorry po kasi first time ko dito sa tsikot hehehe... I really haven't signed-up into a forum with pinoys except the forums of my school... And also even though my school is science h.s. we don't have enough funds to have a proper computer class... Our last computer class was in 2nd year which was based on Corel Draw and Photo Shop in which we had tests that was not practicum tests but hence we had tests in memorization based what was written on a book... That was the only subject I failed in my school except in biology 2 . We were so mad at Computer classes we never want to have that class again...

-And also if the M/T Honda Civic was launched this year or even last year I think people won't still buy it because the model was old and last year we were already informed about the model change last year. Also there were tough competition last year such were the focus, mazda 3, even the city and fortuner and innova ( I considered the Fortuner and innova because usually Filipinos don't buy 2 cars at a time in just one year.)

*Again i'm sorry for the 1st mistakes i've done. And I will try the best to be respectful and i still hope you enjoy the polls...

hybrid technology applied to standard FWD cars is a cheaper & more practical approach to turning a FWD car to a AWD vehicle.
