It should work. Advantages, fuel is cheaper. Disadvantage, possible poor consumption... but this depends on the car model in question. Try it out and see if you like it.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

I have a friend who gases up with E10 fuel. But his is a 1996 model civic. And no problem according to him.

Anybody here ever tried E10 on a 2006-up civic, please share your observations.

    Thank you.

The vehicles that i noted above belong to the same generation (Civic EK).

What are the changes that HCPI made for the 1998-2001 1.6 VTi and 1.5 LXi models as they are of the same engine and made compatible with E10???

I had been handling my sister's 1996 Civic VTi and she has been using either Shell Unleaded (green) and Caltex Silver both are with the E10 blend for over a year and so far no adverse changes have been observed. same responsiveness as always...

Hoping Honda gurus here can help. thanks and happy holidays.

Wala ma yung manual, san ko pwede makita yung specification (sa baba) para malaman kung compatible or not.

    -From honda cars website:
    Compatible with e10:
    Civic 1.6L DOHC VTEC 1998 ~ 2001
    Civic 1.6L VTEC (Civic SiR Body) 1998 ~ 2001
Civic 1.5L (Civic SiR Body) (Group Fuel Injection, GFI) 1998 ~ 2001

    Not compatible with e10:
    Civic 1.6 VTEC 1996 ~ 1998
    Civic 1.5L (Group Fuel Injection, GFI) 1996 ~ 1998

    Salamat po.

Thanks. Pano nyo po na identify na di compatible? Do you mean po na yung akin is Civic 1.6 VTEC: 1996 – 1998.

    Hindi cya:
    6. Civic 1.6L DOHC VTEC: 1998 – 2001
    7. Civic 1.6L VTEC (Civic SiR Body): 1998 – 2001

    Pano po ma iidentify/makikita yung Civic 1.6L DOHC VTEC: 1998 – 2001
at Civic 1.6L VTEC (Civic SiR Body)?

Yung Civic Civic 1.6L VTEC (Civic SiR Body) po ba is yung SIR o body lang type lang cya?

Sorry po, medyo newbie pa ako.
