If "porma" only, then the 96-00 Civic might be the better option. But if you are after real performance potential, the older Civic HB is still the better option with the lighter bodyweight, suspension options, engine swap compatibility, etc.

anyway, i suggest Honda Civic SiR kung need mo power at porma.sarap pakinggan ang VTEC niya.

Honda Civic '92-95 Hatchback madali lang pormahan, di rin pahuhuli sa kalye in terms of porma.kung full stock pa mabili mo, mag change engine ka nalang ng D15B JDM setup.

Kung honda civic '96 - '00, kung yung civic na VTI Vtec wag na yun ang piliin mo mas maganda pa makina ng ESi.mas pipiliin ko ang honda civic ESi sa honda civic VTI ang AFAIK mas malakas ang PH16(ESi) sa PH16a(VTI).

if your going for "japorms" lang... the 99-00 is the car for you. LXi for the FC pero if power naman with the stock engine... go for the SiR.

kung engine performance ang gusto.. the hatch would be better... lagyan mo ng d15b with turbo and I/H/E... and your set.
or b18, LSD, I/H/E... panalo! kaso medyo mas mahal pyesa ng b series compared with the d series.

its really to your taste, both the EG and EK are the best looking civic IMO.
