Tuesday and Wednesday evening, we went through flooded areas going back home. Fortunately, the flood was not that high and did not get inside the car (i guess).

I just wanna know if there are bad effects of getting through flooded areas and if there is something i should do to prevent future problem with my FD caused by the flood water.

    Thanks

Wala naman as long as the engine was not submerge and water didn't come inside. One of the dangers is kung may tubig na pumasok sa tambutso tapos di natanggal. Pero if your car is not acting up then I guess its ok.

    Hi
If the water had reached the level of your tires bearing. Then, it is time to have a regrease of the bearings.
Much better, Try to avoid flood prone areas. It is unsafe for you and your car. There are many unkown factors that may result to inconvience and consequences. Your car warranty might be void.

For sure that the water did reached the tire bearing. Does it mean, that the grease from the tire bearing can be easily removed? As far as i know, tire bearings has sort of housing, protecting the grease from easily removed by water or other elements.

Your right, for the benefit of other tsikoteers, please avoid these streets when its raining heavy, Mindanao ave., near Veterans entrance, and Makati ave., near the intersection of Ayala, infront of Hotel Intercon.

Di naman inabot yung engine and i think, wala ring pumasok sa tambutso. Kung sakaling pinasok yung tambutso, i think nag evaporate narin yun or nabuga na palabas coz the car is acting well naman. thanks tidus

Flood... any bad effect on my FD? What should i do?
