guys just asking.. in terms of speed and power mas lamang ba ang d15 compare s ph16? if you modify d15 with a basic IHE lalakas ba yung hatak? all esi JDM is d15? pero my vtec po ba yun?

November 19th, 2009 05:37 PM #2the D15 engine has a rating of 130(?) hp for a very small engine displacement(1500). that is a good advantage when compared to a d16/ph16 in terms of fuel consumption only. sa speed naman po, the ph16 gives out 125-127 hp, so di kalayuan sa d15. pro horsepower would never compensate for the displacement.
i.e. kung paakyat kayo ng baguio, masmatulin ang d15 sa flat and straight roads, but when you start going uphill, mas may power ang may masmataas na displacement.

November 21st, 2009 10:26 PM #4uu pdeng d15 ung block mo tas pang ph16 vtec ung head mo.. ung harness and comp. box mo? pang vtec ba? kng d useless ang vtec bro... tska parang dko napansin solenoid sa makina mo.. d kaya valve cover lng yan bro?
i own a 92 civic hatch na nka jdm d15 all stock on motor only I/H/E.. believe it or not civic Sir with I/H/E panalo oto ko ng half car.. bago lng mkina ko kht ako d mkapaniwla.. ngaun final drive and double d next na ikakabit ko.. lakas ng d15 pero tipid sa gas.. hehe

ph16a yan sir local vtec not a japan surplus engine. Same engine with my vti.

Wala pong ganyang head cover and d15b..
But you're lucky still, since it's a ph16a vtec...
To think it's on a hatch, I bet hindi ka naman bibitinin niyan..
