If these upmarket Jap brands were available locally, would you buy these over BMWs, Mercedes-Benzes, Volvos, Jaguars and Land Rovers?

    and why hehe

    Lexus and Infinity, definitely...

Acura, maybe, don't like their designs...

Infinity first followed by Acura (mainly for the RL). Infinity seems geared for performance combined with more agressive styling. The styling of the RL seems more elegant than equivalent cars from Lexus and it too packs a punch under the hood.

I'll get the LS430. Lexi are the best, parang toyota tumagal. Pero, if follow my heart, gustong-gusto ko yung gatling gun headlight Q. Q45 ba yon?

I think the simpler Chrysler is actually doing better than MBs... MBs have too many gizmos that breakdown.

It depends on the category... for the compact luxury-sport sedan segment, I'm leaning towards BMW's new 3-series...
A lot of positive reviews on its handling and it looks great with the M-sport kit. The new IS is also good, but the design is too Mazda-like.

The mid-size Lexus GS430 is also a good luxury sports sedan, its balanced, not too sporty, not too soft and luxurious, well built....

Each brand has their good models... But i'd probably consider All brands(Lexus, Infiniti, Acura, BMW, Volvo, Jaguar, Range Rover) over the new Mercedes models.
    I'd probably even pick Chrysler's 300C over MB's E-class.

Btw, nung bumili kami ng MB, in-offer din kami ng LS430. Would have chosen the LS430 kung may service lang dito. (Also the MB was priced dirt cheap, yung LS hinde)

Bought both Lexus and Acura..... OK naman parehas plus reliable pa compared sa European cars Wala pa ko masabi sa Infiniti as I haven't owned one. Pero I'll definitely buy any of the 3 brands first bago European cars - preference lang siguro. Dami kasi akong nakakatakot na 1st hand info na nakalap about Euro cars (specifically MBs M-series nung nagsha-shop around pa lang ako ng SUV)

If I were to buy an Infiniti, it'd be a G35 coupe. Functionally, it's just an upscale version of the 350z. I like the Infiniti a tad better.

It would be either Lexus or Infinity for me, but right now I am leaning towards Lexus, especially their new IS350.

I suppose we have to take the transmission into account. If these cars will compete with the likes of BMW, it has to have a M/T which is why I prefer the Infiniti G35. Lexus.... How many of their models offer M/T? The Acura RL I chose is supposed to be more of a luxury cruiser. So the A/T isn't a big deal. But, anyone who associate "passion" with driving knows the car must have M/T.

For luxury-sports vehicles, Nissan FUGA 450 GT/Infiniti M45 with top-of-the-line sports package gets my vote.

Lalong-lalo na kung naka all-black siya.

if i have the money, i'd buy all of those hehehhe. just kidding.

Well, I would go for the Acura TSX (Euro Accord look) and the Lexus GS.

Sa small sedans, I'd pick the Lexus IS350. Super pogi, as in! Plus reliable pa unlike the Euros. Pero if the 3-Series offers much more fun, baka BMW pa rin ako.

    Medium sedans, 5-Series no doubt.

Large sedans, ok ang S-Class pero astig din yung bagong Lexus LS.

    Yes.

I guess the keywords are "If I could"...

A pre-owned IS300. Although I've seen the new IS350 sa kalye ok din naman, mas gusto ko yung nauna. I would get this over, say, the similarly priced 3 series. But I would get the C class over this. Don't know why.

For Acura, I would prefer the TL even though the RL is more powerful. Parang masyadong malaki na yung RL.

I haven't really looked at Infinitis that much.

But then again, "If I could", I would also buy a BMW M3 or M5, a Merc even the C class, a Land Rover and a Jag.
