Sa Walco at 7110277,7110299. Its the telescopic antenna with the toothed engineering plastic. I think hindi pwede plastic coil lang.
Nag DIY ako niyan, medyo tricky kasi you need to remove some teeth para hindi mag jam ang motor.

question about sa power antenna. ano kaya problem pag ayaw na umangat/bumaba pagka-on ng head unit? and saan/anong shop ang recommended niyo na patingnan yung EK4 civic stock antenna? last resort na sana sa casa kasi alam niyo naman..

Putol yung plastic coil gear inside the power antenna assembly.

Your options are:
-repair
-replace

Repair would mean letting someone splice together the plastic coil gear. It does work but doesn't last more than a few months of daily use.

Replacement power antenna kits are available and more affordable than buying at the casa. These can last a few years of daily use. Just choose the ones that operate smoothly when you test them before installing.

Usually I just go to my suki shops and have them replace the antenna for me. Also best to get a "warranty" (if they would give such) just in case.

My suki shops used to be in Banawe but I usually go to Auto-Centro in Cubao more often in recent years.

Question din po. Bakit ang power antenna ng civic 99 ko pag bumababa anglakas ng tunog pag all way down na cya parang kumakatok. Normal ba un?

dun lang pala yun sa gilid ng cubao bus terminal. hindi ko napapansin yun dun. anyway, sadyain ko minsan para makapag-ikot-ikot. baka may mahanap din ako na kailangan ko. thanks sa info gh.
